HomeMy WebLinkAbout19530 ORD - 10/28/198699.025 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 19305 BY AMENDING SECTION 3 IN ORDER TO ADOPT THE FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS ON THE FOLLOWING STREET: MCARDLE ROAD, FROM CRESCENT DRIVE TO NILE DRIVE; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 19305, passed and approved May 13, 1986, be amended by amending Section 3 so as to adopt the final assessment roll and assessments levied against owners of abutting property on the following street: McArdle Road, from Crescent Drive to Nile Drive, a substantial copy of which assessment role is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit A. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for efficient and effective administration of City affairs by the adoption of the final, corrected assessment roll as aforesaid, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 28th day of October, 1986. Final Assessment Roll McArdle Road Crescent Drive To Nile Drive This project shall include improvements to the following streets: McArdle Road, from Crescent Drive to Nile Drive. This street shall be constructed by excavation to a width and depth.to permit the laying of a standard 6" curb and gutter section, 6" lime stabilized sub - grade, 8" compacted caliche base, 3" Type "B" Hot -Mix and 11/2" Type "D" Hot - Mix Asphaltic pavement. The street will be 48' wide, BOC, and constructed within the existing 60' right-of-way. There will be 5' wide reinforced con- crete sidewalks tied to the curb and 6" thick reinforced concrete driveways as shown on the plans. The assessment rates have been calculated in accordance with the City's current paving policy.
