AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT TO ALBUQUERQUE FEDERAL SAVINGS AND
LOAN ASSOCIATION AND SHERROD CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, OWNERS
AND DEVELOPERS OF RIVER RIDGE SUBDIVISION, FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF 15 -INCH DIAMETER SANITARY SEWER COLLECTION
LINE; APPROPRIATING $49,495.88; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Approval of the developer's application is hereby given
and authorization is given for reimbursement to Albuquerque Federal Savings and
Loan Association and Sherrod Construction Company, owners and developers of
River Ridge Subdivision, for installation of approximately 135 linear feet of
15 -inch diameter sanitary sewer collection line, as shown on Exhibit "A",
attached hereto, and in accordance with the Platting Ordinance.
SECTION 2. That the sum of $50,000 be transferred from the
No. 145-247.95 Sanitary Sewer Trunk Line Trust Fund°to the No. 145-247.96
Sanitary Sewer Collection Line Trust Fund, and that the sum of $49,495.88 be
appropriated out of the No. 145-247.96 Sanitary Sewer Collection Line Trust
Fund.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the immediate
need for efficient and effective administration of City affairs by making
reimbursement to the owners and developers as above described such finding of an
emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to
consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular
meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon first
reading as an emergency measure this the 28th day of October, 1986.
