AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT TO GERALD W. ALLEN FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF APPROXIMATELY 280 LINEAR FEET OF 6" DIAMETER
WATER DISTRIBUTION LINE; APPROPRIATING $2,864; AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby authorized the reimbursement to
Gerald W. Allen, owner and developer of Highway Village Section 3, Block 14,
Lots 3A, 3B, and 3C, the amount of $2,864 for the installation of approximately
280 linear feet of 6" diameter water distribution line as shown on the attached
Exhibit "A," per Ordinance No. 17092.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $2,864 from the
No 143-246.96 Water Distribution Mains Trust Fund.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to take
immediate action to preserve and protect public property by expediting the
construction of public improvements, such finding of an emergency is made and
declared requiring s spension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting
upon ordinances or r- olutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance
is passe and shall ke'eff= t upon first reading as an emergency measure this

or resolution, an emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule
as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three

and pass this ordinance or resolution finally on the date it is introduced,
or at the present meeting of the City Council.
