HomeMy WebLinkAbout19587 ORD - 12/30/1986.'r AN ORDINANCE AMENDING COMPENSATION ORDINANCE 8127, SECTION 510, MANAGERIAL GROUP PAY PLAN 1985-86, BY ESTABLISHING NEW SALARY RANGES; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Compensation Ordinance 8127, Section 510, Managerial Group Pay Plan 1985-86, be amended by establishing new salary ranges for the following positions: POSITION TITLE P02 Assistant Police Chief P03 Police Commander PO4 Police Captain FROM TO $36,700 - $51,900 $37,800 - $53,500 33,400 - 47,200 34,400 - 48,600 30,200 - 42,700 31,100 - 44,000 retroactive to the pay period ending November 9, 1986. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shal take elfzb upon first reading as an emergency measure this thec-b day of CWAW , 19440.
