APPROPRIATING $4,000 FROM THE NO. 250 SANITARY SEWER BOND
FUND FOR SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDING FOR FINAL PAYMENT TO THE
CONTRACTOR AND FOR CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION SERVICES
APPLICABLE TO GATEWAY PARK SUBDIVISION SANITARY SEWER; AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated $4,000 from the No. 250
Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund for final payment to the contractor, Claude Chapman
Construction Company, Inc. and for construction inspection services applicable
to Project No. 250-85-44-14.1, Gateway Park Subdivision Sanitary Sewer.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to
appropriate the abovementioned funds at the earliest practicable date, such
finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter
rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three
regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take effect upon
