AUTHORIZING REIMBURSEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $172,492.34 TO
HENRY TUCKER FOR THE INSTALLATION OF 12", 16", and 20"
DIAMETER WATER GRID MAINS; AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFERRING OF
FUNDS INTO THE WATER GRID AND ARTERIAL TRANSMISSION MAINS
TRUST FUND; APPROPRIATING $172,492.34; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby authorized the reimbursement in the
amount of $172,492.34 to the developer of Kings Crossing Unit 1 Subdivision,
Henry Tucker, for the installation of 12", 16", and 20" diameter water grid
mains as shown on the attached Exhibit "A" per Ordinance 17092.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby authorized the transfer of $8,000
from the No. 143-246.96 Water Distribution Main Trust Fund and $80,000 from the
No. 143-254.02 and No. 143-199.00 Water Trust Fund Reserve Interest Funds to the
No. 143-246.95 Water Grid and Arterial Transmission Mains Trust Fund.
SECTION 3. That there is hereby appropriated $172,492.34 out of the
No. 143-246.95 Water Grid and Arterial Transmission Mains Trust Fund for the
developer reimbursement.
SECTION 4. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for
efficient and effective administration of City affairs by appropriating the
aforementioned amounts, such finding of an emergency is made and declared
requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon
ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is
passed and shall take effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the

For the reasons set forth in the emergency clause of the foregoing ordinance
or resolution, an emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule
as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three
regular meetings; I/we, therefore, request that you suspend said Charter rule
and pass this ordinance or resolution finally on the date it is introduced,
or at the present meeting of the City Council.
