APPROPRIATING $45,000 OUT OF NO. 245 AIRPORT BOND FUND FOR
CHANGE ORDER NO. 6 TO THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT WITH CJB
CONSTRUCTION, INC.; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated $45,000 out of the No. 245
Airport Bond Fund for Change Order No. 6 to the construction contract with CJB
Construction, Inc. which includes a new lay -in ceiling with light fixtures and
speakers in the existing east and west concourse and gatehouse, and for
additional architectural/engineering fees and contingency costs, applicable to
Project No. 245-82-1.1, Concourse and Hold Room.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to
appropriate the abovementioned funds at the earliest practicable date, such
finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter
rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three
regular meetings so that this ordinance is pass d and shal ake effect upon
first reading as an emergency measure this the 5) day of h

or resolution, an emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule

or at the present meeting of the City Council.
