HomeMy WebLinkAbout19660 ORD - 02/16/1987AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $56,000 FROM THE MAINTENANCE SERVICES FUND TO THE CAPITAL OUTLAY ACTIVITY FOR THE PURCHASE OF SIX REPLACEMENT VEHICLES IN THE VEHICLE LEASE PROGRAM; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated $56,000 from the Maintenance Services Fund to the Capital Outlay Activity (132-321-562.69-503) for the purchase of six replacement vehicles in the Vehicle Lease Program. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to appropriate the abovementioned funds at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take of ect upon first reading as an emergency measure this theJB+l day of ` 19g7 .
