HomeMy WebLinkAbout19671 ORD - 03/06/1987TEXAS: AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $15,300 FROM THE 511 STORM SEWER BOND FUND FOR APPRAISAL SERVICES BY RICHARD CLOWER IN CONNECTION WITH THE MARY CARROLL CHANNEL WIDENING PROJECT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated $15,300 from the 511 Storm Sewer Bond Fund for appraisal services by Richard Clower in connection with the Mary Carroll Channel Widening Project. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to appropriate the abovementioned funds at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall tOke gffect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the g7+41 day of 19Q7 .
