HomeMy WebLinkAbout19682 ORD - 03/13/1987AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $103,868 FROM THE 511 STORM SEWER BOND FUND FOR THE ACQUISITION OF PARCEL 2 BY CONDEMNATION FOR THE McNORTON DRAINAGE OUTFALL PROJECT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated $103,868 from the 511 Storm Sewer Bond Fund for the acquisition of Parcel 2 by condemnation for the McNorton Drainage Outfall Project. SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to appropriate the abovementioned funds at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed a d shall take, effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the �4 day of �/�Q1�1+(Q1 19$% .
