HomeMy WebLinkAbout19686 ORD - 03/31/1987AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $500,000 FROM THE NO. 551 PARK BOND FUND, OSO CREEK DEVELOPMENT - PHASE I, FOR THE PAYMENT OF SPECIAL SERVICES AND PHASE I LAND ACQUISITION; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated $500,000 from the No. 551 Park Bond Fund, Oso Creek Development - Phase I, for the payment of special services and Phase I land acquisition. SECTION 2. That'upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need to appropriate the abovementioned funds at the earliest practicable date, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shal tak effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the 3 I day of C LC. , 19n .
