APPROVING THE DEVELOPER"S APPLICATION AND AUTHORIZING
REIMBURSEMENT TO JOE FRENCH THE AMOUNT OF $20,598.18 FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF APPROXIMATELY 26 LINEAR FEET OF 8 -INCH
DIAMETER AND 855 LINEAR FEET OF 12 -INCH DIAMETER SANITARY
SEWER COLLECTION LINE; APPROPRIATING $20,598.18; AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Developer's application for reimbursement is
hereby approved and that reimbursement is hereby authorized to Joe French, owner
and developer of Lots 2, 3, and 4, Block 1, Caja Industrial Subdivision, the
amount of $20,598.18 for the installation of approximately 26 linear feet of
8 -inch diameter and 855 linear feet of 12 -inch diameter sanitary sewer
collection line as shown on attached Exhibit "A," per Ordinance No. 17396.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $20,598.18 from the
No. 145-247.96 Sanitary Sewer Collection Line Trust Fund.
SECTION 3. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for the
efficient and effective administration of City affairs, such finding of an
emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to
consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three regular
meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall tak effect upon first
reading as an emergency measure this the I74\

or resolution, an emergency exists requiring suspension of the Charter rule
as to consideration and voting upon ordinances or resolutions at three
regular meetings; I/we, therefore, request that you suspend said Charter rule
and pass this ordinance or resolution finally on the date it is introduced,
or at the present meeting of the City Council.
