PROVIDING FOR THE ACCEPTANCE OF FACILITIES PLAN FOR
MUNICIPAL WASTEWATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI WESTSIDE AREA.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi deems it
necessary and proper to apply for and receive a Federal Grant under the
provisions of P.L. 92-217 as amended and the rules and regulations pursuant
thereto; and
WHEREAS, a Facilities Plan for such wastewater system improvements has
been prepared in accordance with such requirements; and
WHEREAS, the City of Corpus Christi has conducted public presentation
and discussion of such Facilities Plan and finds it to be in accordance with
applicable local utilities development plans and requirements of the City of
Corpus Christi.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Facilities Plan as presented to the public is
hereby accepted by the City Council and recommended for approval to the Texas
Water Development Board and the Environmental Protection Agency.
