A RESOLUTION
ACCEPTING THE 13TH YEAR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO
EXECUTE ALL RELATED DOCUMENTS; AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR
ELIGIBLE 13TH YEAR PROJECTS AS DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A."
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
SECTION 1. That the Department of Housing and Urban Development's
13th Year Community Development Block Grant Program be accepted and that the
City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to execute all related
documents to implement the program.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $4,534,000 in the 13th
Year Community Development Block Grant funds as described in Exhibit "A,"
attached hereto and made a part hereof, of which $3,659,000 is the 13th year
entitlement, $435,000 from reprogramming into the 13th Year from previous years
and an estimated $440,000 from program income from loan repayments.
