AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH A.M.H.
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS IN THE
SAN CARLOS AREA OF THE CITY; APPROPRIATING $78,000.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with A.M.H. Construction Company for sanitary sewer improvements in the
San Carlos area of the City, all as more fully set forth in plans and
specifications and contract documents on file in the office of the City
Secretary, all of which are made a part hereof by reference and according to the
bid of A.M.H. Construction Company, said bid being the lowest and most
advantageous to the City of Corpus Christi.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $26,772.63 from the
No. 250 Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund and authorizing $51,227.37 from the
No. 162-152-807.10, 12th Year Community Development Block Grant for a total of
$78,000.00, of which $67,301.00 is for the contract award and $10,699.00 is for
additional engineering, contingencies and related expenses applicable to Project
No. 250-86-44-15.1, San Carlos Area Sanitary Sewer Improvements.
