Morris Avenue, Mary Street and Marguerite Street, from Crosstown to 10th Street; 2. 10th Street, from Mary Street to Laredo Street; 3. llth Street, from Morris Avenue to Mary Street; 4. 12th Street, from Morris Avenue to Laredo Street; 5. 14th Street, from Morris Avenue to Marguerite Street, and 6. Sam Rankin Street, from Lipan Street to Mestina Street. AAb DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 19543, passed and approved November 4, 1986, be amended by amending Section 3 so as to adopt the final assessment roll and assessments levied against owners of abutting property on the following street: Furman School Area, Phase IV 1. Morris Avenue, Mary Street and Marguerite Street, from Crosstown to 10th Street; 2. 10th Street, from Mary Street to Laredo Street; 3. llth Street, from Morris Avenue to Mary Street; 4. 12th Street, from Morris Avenue to Laredo Street; 5. 14th Street, from Morris Avenue to Marguerite Street, and 6. Sam Rankin Street, from Lipan Street to Mestina Street. a substantial copy of which assessment role is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit "A". SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for efficient and effective administration of City affairs by the adoption of the final, corrected assessment roll as aforesaid, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is 07P.001.01 ussz MICROFILMED passed and shall RIT effect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the ( day of , 19 4'7 . ATTEST: City Secretary APPROVED DAY OF 62 HAL GEORGE, CITY ATTORN MAYOR , 19 )7 07P.001.01 THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS Final Assessment Roll Furman School Area, Phase IV Street Improvements The Furman School Area, Phase IV, street improvements shall include improvements to the following streets: Furman School Area, Phase IV 1. Morris Avenue, Mary Street and Marguerite Street, from Crosstown to 10th Street; 2. 10th Street, from Mary Street to Laredo Street; 3. llth Street, from Morris Avenue to Mary Street; 4. 12th Street, from Morris Avenue to Laredo Street; 5. 14th Street, from Morris Avenue to Marguerite Street, and 6. Sam Rankin Street, from Lipan Street to Mestina Street. These streets shall be constructed by excavation to a width and depth to permit the laying of a 6" standard curb and gutter section, a 6" compacted lime stabilized sub - grade, an 8" or 10" compacted caliche base, and a 11" or 2" Type "D" Hot Mix as- phaltic pavement. The streets'will be constructed either 28', 38', 40' or 41' wide within the existing right-of-ways. There will be 4' or 5' wide reinforced concrete sidewalks, 4" thick and 6" thick reinforced concrete driveways constructed as shown on the plans. The assessment rates have been calculated in accordance with the City's latest paving policy.
