CONFIRMING THE EVALUATION AND UNANIMOUS SUPPORT BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF CITY MANAGER CRAIG A. McDOWELL.
WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution 19312 confirmed the
appointment of Craig A. McDowell as City Manager pursuant to Article III,
Section 1, City Charter; and
WHEREAS, said resolution incorporated the terms and conditions of said
employment by Letter Agreement attached thereto;
WHEREAS, the City Council on August 11, 1987, conducted an evaluation
of Craig A. McDowell as City Manager; and
WHEREAS, the City Council fully evaluated Craig A. McDowell and gave
him unanimous support.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council confirms the appointment of Craig A.
McDowell hereto made by Resolution 19312 passed and approved on May 13, 1986,
and hereby confirms the evaluation and unanimous support of said Craig A.
McDowell on August 11, 1987, and hereby reconfirms said appointment and
evaluation and hereby agrees to extend the termination pay in paragraph 8 of
said Letter of Agreement attached to Resolution 19312 to twelve (12) months and
expresses its support of the performance of Craig A. McDowell as City Manager.
