AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH COLEMAN-ROTH
CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO CRESTMONT, PEBBLE,
TEMPLE, WEST HAVEN, AND WINROCK PARKS; APPROPRIATING
$315,349.71.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with Coleman -Roth Construction, Inc. for improvements to Crestmont,
Pebble, Temple, West Haven, and Winrock Parks, all as more fully set forth in
plans and specifications and contract documents on file in the office of the
City Secretary, all of which are made a part hereof by reference and according
to the bid of Coleman -Roth Construction, Inc., said bid being the lowest and
most advantageous to the City of Corpus Christi.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $297,004.49 from the
No. 551 Park Bond Fund and authorizing $968.03 from the 10th Year and $17,377.19
from the llth year Community Development Block Grants for a total of $315,349.71
of which $289,428.98 is for the contract award and $25,920.73 is for additional
engineering, contingencies, and related expenses applicable to Project
No. 551-86-3.2, Crestmont, Pebble, Temple, West Haven and Winrock Park
Improvements.
