AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AGREEMENTS TO PURCHASE
INSURANCE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
agreements to purchase insurance as follows: (1) property and boiler insurance
($100,000 per occurrence deductible) with coverage for buildings ($91,585,185),
contents ($6,296,751) and EDP equipment ($3,143,702) with Dinn & Company for
annual premiums of $102,000 and $1,020, respectively, and (2) airport liability
insurance from Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. with $10,000,000 underlying and
$15,000,000 excess coverage for a premium of $79,275, a commission not to exceed
$11,325, and state surplus lines taxes not to exceed $3,500.
