AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH ENVIRONMENTAL
INSULATION SERVICES, INC. FOR THE REMOVAL OF ASBESTOS
CONTAINING MATERIALS FROM THE PRICE FIELD PRESS BOX; AND
APPROPRIATING $4,936.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with Environmental Insulation Services, Inc. for the removal of
asbestos containing materials from the Price Field Press Box, all as more fully
set forth in' the plans and specifications and contract documents on file in the
office of the City Secretary, all of which are made a part hereof by reference
and according to the bid of Environmental Insulation Services, Inc., said bid
being the lowest and most advantageous to the City of Corpus Christi.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $4,936 from the 111
Unrestricted Park Trust Fund to supplement previously appropriated funds of
$5,000 authorized by the passage of Ordinance No. 19639 dated February 17, 1987,
for a total of $9,936 for the contract award applicable to Project
No. 551-86-13.1, Youth Sports Assistance Program.
