APPROPRIATING $6,170 FROM THE 561 STREET IMPROVEMENTS BOND
FUND FOR THE ACQUISITION OF PARCEL 2 IN CONNECTION WITH THE
GLENOAK DRIVE SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated $6,170 from the 561 Street
Improvements Bond Fund for the acquisition of Parcel 2 in connection with the
Glenoak Drive Sidewalk Improvements Project.

KNOW ALL BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF NUECES §
That BEVERLY HELD, Executrix for JON HELD HOMES of the
County of Nueces, State of Texas, for and in consideration
of the sum of Six .thousand One hundred Seventy Dollars and
no cents [$6,170.00] to me in hand paid by the City of
Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas and other good and
valuable considerations, the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, have granted and conveyed and by these
presents do grant and convey unto the City of Corpus
Christi, Nueces County, Texas, a municipal corporation duly
incorporated under and by virtue of the laws of the State of
Texas, its successors and legal representatives, the free
and uninterrupted use, liberty, privilege and easement of
going in, on, over, under and along a certain tract of land
situated in Nueces County, Texas and being described as
follows:

Being an irregularly shaped tract out of a portion of Lots 6 and 7,
section 50, Flour Bluff and Encinal Farm and Garden Tracts, shown in Volume
4, pages 41-43, map records, Nueces County, Texas, and more completely
described as follows:
Beginning at a point being the northmost corner of said Lot 7;
Thence S 29° W, 20 feet and S 61° E 250.00 feet to the point of
beginning of this tract;
Thence South 29° West, 20 feet along the westerly right-of-way of 40 foot
wide Held Drive;
Thence in a northerly direction, 15.71 feet along a curve concave to the
west with an initial bearing of North 29° -East, a radius of 10 feet and an
internal angle of 90;
Thence N 61° W 604.96 feet to a point;
Thence N 29° E 10 feet to a point for the northmost corner of this
tract;
Thence S 61° E 614.96 feet to the point of beginning and containing
0.1417 acres, more or less.

A map marked "Exhibit A" is attached hereto and made a
part hereof for all purposes.
Together with the free ingress, egress and regress to
and for the City of Corpus Christi, for the purpose of
constructing streets, sidewalks, curbs, gutters and
appurtenances upon said tract and way for the public use by
foot, with automobiles, carts, carriages and all other
vehicles and all other means of transportation necessary or
convenient at all' times and in all seasons in, along and
upon said tract and way, as well as for laying, repairing,
servicing and maintaining of public utility lines and storm
sewers in, on, over, under and along said tract or way.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, all and singular, the rights and
privileges aforesaid to the City of Corpus Christi, Texas,
its successors and legal representatives and the public, for
the proper use as public streets and utility easements or
utility easements for so long as used for such purposes or
any of them, and if the use for said tract and way for all
of said uses be ever abandoned, then in that event, the
aforesaid rights and privileges shall cease, and all rights
herein granted shall revert to the Grantor herein, his heirs
or assigns.
