AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH INTERSTATE
INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTORS, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE OSO
WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT; APPROPRIATING $500,000.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with Interstate Industrial Constructors, Inc. for improvements to the
Oso Wastewater Treatment Plant, all as more fully set forth in plans and
specifications and contract documents on file in the office of the City
Secretary, all of which are made a part hereof by reference and according to the
bid of Interstate Industrial Constructors, Inc, said bid being the lowest and
most advantageous to the City of Corpus Christi.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $500,000 from the
No. 250 Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund of which $427,300 is for the contract award and
$72,700 is for contingencies and incidental and related expenses applicable to
Project No. 250-85-44-5.1, Oso Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements.
