JARAMILLO BY CHANGING THE ZONING MAP IN REFERENCE TO A PORTION OF LOTS 14 AND 15, BLOCK A, AIRLINE SUBDIVISION, FROM "R -1B" ONE -FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT TO "R -1C" ONE -FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has forwarded to the City Council its reports and recommendations concerning the application of 0. W. Jaramillo for amendment to the zoning map of the City of Corpus Christi. WHEREAS, public hearing was held at which hearing all persons wishing to appear and be heard were heard, to consider the same before the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi, in accordance with proper notice to the public, said public hearing having been held on Tuesday, November 3, 1987, during a meeting of the City Council in the Council Chamber at City Hall in the City of Corpus Christi; and WHEREAS, by motion duly made, seconded and carried, it was decided by the City Council that to approve the hereinafter set forth amendment would best serve public health, necessity and convenience and the general welfare of the City of Corpus Christi and its citizens: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. Texas, is amended by SECTION 2. Airline Subdivision, further described by Dwelling District to That the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Corpus Christi, making the change hereinafter set out. That the zoning on a portion of Lots 14 and 15, Block A, in the City of Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, and metes and bounds below, be changed from "R -1B" One -family "R -1C" One -family Dwelling District: A 0.12 acre tract of land, more or less, being the southwest portion of Lots 14 and 15, Block A, of the Airline Subdivision as recorded in Volume 12 at Page 18 of the Map Records of Nueces County, Texas. Said 0.12 acre tract of land being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a 5/8" iron rod set for the south corner of said Lot 15 of the said Airline Subdivision from whence a 5/8" iron rod found set for the east corner of said Lot 15 bears North 29°01' East a distance of 166.10 feet; Thence North 60°55' West with the southwest line of said Lot 15 and the Airline Subdivision, at 56.00 feet pass the west corner of said Lot 15, continuing with the southwest line of said Lot 14 and the Airline Subdivision, at a distance of 112.00 feet in all, the west corner of said Lot 14 for a corner of this tract; 204BC007.ORD 20054 MICROFILMED Thence North 29°01' East with the northwest line of said Lot 14 a distance of 48.20 feet to a point for the north corner of this tract; Thence South 60°55' East across said Lot 14, at 56.00 feet cross the southeast line of said Lot 14, continuing across said Lot 15, at a distance of 112.00 feet in all, a point on the southeast line of said Lot 15 for the west corner of this tract, from whence the east corner of said Lot 15 bears North 29°01' East a distance of 117.90 feet; Thence South 29°01' West with the southeast line of said Lot 15 a distance of 48.20 feet to the Point of Beginning and containing 5,398 square feet or 0.12 acres of land, more or less. SECTION 3. That the official zoning map of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, be and the same is hereby, amended as herein ordained. SECTION 4. That the Zoning Ordinance and Map of the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, approved on the 27th day of August, 1937, as amended from time to time, except as herein changed, shall remain in full force and effect. SECTION 5. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. SECTION 6. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for efficient administration of City affairs by granting the aforesaid zoning change, such finding of an emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration and voting upon ordinances at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is passed and shall take a fect upon first reading as an emergency measure this the N3 day ofc 19t7 .
