HomeMy WebLinkAbout20083 ORD - 11/24/1987AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 19753 BY AMENDING SECTION 3 IN ORDER TO ADOPT THE FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS ON THE FOLLOWING STREET: Johanna Street, from Kostoryz Road to Bonham Street; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 19753, passed and approved May 26, 1987, be amended by amending Section 3 so as to adopt the final assessment roll and assessments levied against owners of abutting property on the following street: Johanna Street, from Kostoryz Road to Bonham Street a substantial copy of which assessment role is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit "A". SECTION 2. The street will be constructed by excavation to a width and depth to permit the laying of a standard 6" curb and gutter section, a 6" compacted sub - grade, a 8" compacted caliche base and a 2" Hot -Mix asphaltic concrete surface. The street will be constructed 28' BOC in width within the existing 50' wide dedicated right-of-way. There will be 4' wide reinforced concrete sidewalks, 4" thick and 6" thick reinforced concrete driveways constructed as shown on the plans. The assessment rates have been calculated in accordance with the City's current assessment policy.
