AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 19753 BY AMENDING SECTION 3 IN ORDER
TO ADOPT THE FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS
ON THE FOLLOWING STREET:
Johanna Street, from Kostoryz Road to Bonham Street;
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 19753, passed and approved May 26,
1987, be amended by amending Section 3 so as to adopt the final assessment roll
and assessments levied against owners of abutting property on the following
street:
Johanna Street, from Kostoryz Road to Bonham Street
a substantial copy of which assessment role is attached hereto and made a part
hereof, marked Exhibit "A".
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for
efficient and effective administration of City affairs by the adoption of the
final, corrected assessment roll as aforesaid, such finding of an emergency is
made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration
and voting upon ordinances at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is
pased and shal take effectpon firs eading as an emergency measure this the

FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL
JOHANNA STREET
STREET IMPROVEMENTS
The Johanna Street Improvements shall include improvements to the following
street:
Johanna Street, from Kostoryz Road To Bonham Street
This project will consist of opening a new street section within the described
limits. The street will be constructed by excavation to a width and depth to
permit the laying of a standard 6" curb and gutter section, a 6" compacted sub -
grade, a 8" compacted caliche base and a 2" Hot -Mix asphaltic concrete surface.
The street will be constructed 28' BOC in width within the existing 50' wide
dedicated right-of-way. There will be 4' wide reinforced concrete sidewalks,
4" thick and 6" thick reinforced concrete driveways constructed as shown on
the plans.
The assessment rates have been calculated in accordance with the City's current
assessment policy. Based on this policy and the prices stipulated by contract
agreement with Corpus Christi Hyundai, Inc., the assessment rates are as
follows:
