AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR THE
ACQUISITION OF PARCEL 38 IN CONNECTION WITH THE TURKEY CREEK
DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS; AND APPROPRIATING $3,500.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be authorized to execute the
documents necessary for the acquisition of Parcel 38 located between Robby and
Countiss Drives in connection with the Turkey Creek Drainage Improvements, a
substantial copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked
Exhibit A.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $3,500 out of the Storm
Sewer Bond Fund.

KNOW ALL BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF NUECES I
That LEOMA T. PULCHER, a widow, of the County of
Nueces, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum
of Three thousand Five hundred Dollars and no cents
[$3,500.00] to me in hand paid by the City of Corpus
Christi, Nueces County, Texas, the receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged, have granted and conveyed and by these
presents do grant and convey unto the City of Corpus
Christi, Texas, a municipal corporation duly incorporated
under and by virtue of the laws of the State of Texas, its
successors and legal representatives the free and
uninterrupted use, liberty, privilege and easement of going
in, on, over, under, and along a certain tract of land
situated in Nueces County, Texas and being described as
follows:

BEING an irregularly shaped tract of land out of the southern portion of Lot
9, Block 12, Highway Village Subdivision, Section 2 as shown by map or plat of
Record :n Vol. 11, Page 59 and 60, Map Records of Nueces County, Texas, said
tract being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows to -wit:
BEGINtNING at a point in the western boundary of said Lot 9, said point being
the common corner of said Lot 9, Block 12 of said Highway Village Subdivision,
Section 2 and Lot 1, Block 13 of Highway Village Subdivision, Section 3;
THENCE due North along the western boundary of said Lot 9, a distance of 20.0
feet to a point;
THENCE due East across the interior of said Lot 9 a distance of 90.0 feet to a
point;
THENCE S 39°07'40" E across said Lot 9, a distance of 228.35 feet to a point
in the eastern boundary of said Lot 9;
THENCE due South along the eastern boundary of said Lot 9, a distance of 14.6
feet to a point being a common corner of said Lot 9, Block 12 and Lot 1, Block
13;
THENCE N 51°51'00" W along the southwesterly boundary of said Lot 9, a
distance of 91.16 feet to a point;
THENCE N 10°04'00" W along the southwesterly boundary of said Lot 9, a
distance of 61.30 feet to a point;
THENCE N 56°30'00" W along the southwesterly boundary of said Lot 9, a
distance of 73.10 feet to a point;
THENCE N 82°01'00" W along the southwesterly boundary of said Lot 9, a
distance of 88.46 feet to the place of beginning, containing
5,977.18 square feet of land, more or less and also containing a 20 foot wide
Utility Easement of 1,498.71 square feet more or less.

A map of which is marked "Exhibit A" and attached
hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes.
Together with the free ingress, egress and regress to
and for the City of Corpus Christi, Texas for the purpose of
constructing, laying and keeping public utility lines, and
for the purposes of maintaining, servicing, repairing and
inspecting said lines under, on and along said tract; and
for drainage purposes.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, -all and singular, the rights and
privileges aforesaid to the City of Corpus Christi, Texas,
its successors and legal representatives, for the proper use
as a utility easement and utility right—of—way, for so long
as used for such purpose, and if the use for said easement
and way of said uses be ever abandoned, then in that event,
the aforesaid rights and privileges shall cease.
