AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR THE
ACQUISITION OF PARCEL 5 IN CONNECTION WITH THE PARK ROAD 22
UTILITY ADJUSTMENTS PROJECT; AND APPROPRIATING $530.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be authorized to execute the
documents necessary for the acquisition of Parcel 5 in connection with the Park
Road 22 Utility Adjustments Project, a substantial copy of which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit A.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated $530 from the 250 Sanitary
Sewer Bond Fund for acquisition of Parcel 5 in connection with the Park Road 22
Utility Adjustments Project.

KNOW ALL BY THESE PRESENTS
COUNTY OF NUECES §
That we, E. J. HUTCHINGS and wife, IMOGENE W. HUTCHINGS
of the County of Rusk, State of Texas, for and in
consideration of the sum of Five hundred Thirty Dollars and
no cents [$530.00] to us in hand paid by the City of Corpus
Christi, Nueces County, Texas, the receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged, have granted and conveyed, and by these
presents do grant and convey unto the City of Corpus
Christi, Texas, a municipal. corporation duly incorporated
under and by virtue of the laws of the State of Texas, its
successors and legal representatives the free and
uninterrupted use, liberty, privilege and easement of going
in, on, over, under and along a certain tract of land
situated in Nueces County, Texas and being described as
follows:

An irregularly shaped tract of land out of former Gateway Drive of Gateway
Park Subdivision as shown in Volume 7, page 59 Nueces County, Texas Map
Records, closed by City Ordinance No. 10823 and more completely described as
follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the centerline of said Gateway Drive and the
east ROW of Cline Street, same being the POINT OF BEGINNING OF THIS TRACT;
THENCE south 61°50' east, 150 feet along the centerline of former Gateway
Drive;
THENCE south 28°55' west, 10 feet;
THENCE north 61°50' west, 150 feet;
THENCE north 28°55' east, 10 feet along east ROW line of Cline Street to the
POINT OF BEGINNING AND CONTAINING ABOUT .0344 acres.

A map of which is marked "Exhibit A" and attached
hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes.
Together with the free ingress, egress and regress to
and for the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, for the purpose
of constructing, reconstructing, laying, and keeping
sanitary sewer lines and for the purposes of maintaining,
servicing, repairing and inspecting said lines under, on and
along said tract.
To have and to hold, all and singular, the rights and
privileges aforesaid to the City of Corpus Christi, Texas
its successors and legal representatives, for the proper use
as a sanitary sewer easement and sanitary sewer right-of-
way, for so long as used for such purpose, and if the use
for said easement and way of said uses be ever abandoned,
then in that event, the aforesaid rights and privileges
shall cease.
