AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH F & E ERECTION
COMPANY FOR THE RELOCATION AND ADJUSTMENT OF UTILITY LINES
ALONG STATE HIGHWAY 44 AND F.M. 2292 IN THE CLARKWOOD AREA;
AND APPROPRIATING $246,000.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with F & E Erection Company for the relocation and adjustment of
utility lines along State Highway 44 and F.M. 2292 in the Clarkwood area, all as
more fully set forth in plans and specifications and contract documents on file
in the office of the City Secretary, all of which are made a part hereof by
reference and according to the bid of F & E Erection Company, said bid being the
lowest and most advantageous to the City of Corpus Christi.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $142,000 from the
No. 205 Water Bond Fund applicable to Project No. 205-87-44-2.8, SH 44/FM 2292
Utility Adjustments and $104,000 from the No. 250 Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund
applicable to Project No. 250-87-44-7.1, SH 44/FM 2292 Utility Adjustments, for
a total of $246,000 of which $231,259.18 is for the contract award and
$14,740.82 is for contingencies, testing, printing, legal advertising, and
incidental and related expenses.
