APPOINTING FRANK SCHWING, JR., TO THE CITY COUNCIL TO FILL
THE VACANCY IN THE DISTRICT ONE POSITION, TO SERVE UNTIL THE
NEXT REGULAR CITY ELECTION.
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists in the District One City Council position;
and
WHEREAS, Frank Schwing, Jr., has all the requisite qualifications for
such vacancy; and
WHEREAS, The City Council has reviewed numerous applicants for that
vacancy, has interviewed those applicants and has determined that Frank Schwing
Jr., is best suited for such vacancy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi
hereby finds that a vacancy exists in the District One position and that Frank
Schwing, Jr., is fully qualified for appointment to such position.
SECTION 2. That Frank Schwing, Jr., be and hereby is appointed to
fill the District One position on the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi
pursuant to the provisions of Article II Section 13, Corpus Christi City
Charter, to serve until the next regular city election.
