FOR LANDSCAPING ALONG THE AIRPORT ENTRANCE ROAD, AROUND THE PARKING AREAS AND TERMINAL BUILDING FRONTAGE, AND CONSTRUCTION OF A JAPANESE GARDEN NEAR THE BAGGAGE AREA; APPROPRIATING $208,000. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Sprinkler King of Texas, Inc. for landscaping along the Airport entrance road, around the parking areas and Terminal Building frontage and construction of a Japanese Garden near the baggage area, all as more fully set forth in plans and specifications and contract documents on file in the office of the City Secretary, all of which are made a part hereof by reference and according to the bid of Sprinkler King of Texas, Inc., said bid being the lowest and most advantageous to the City of Corpus Christi. SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $208,000 from the No. 541 Airport Bond Fund of which $188,084 is for the contract award and $19,916 is for contingencies, additional engineering, testing, printing, and legal advertising applicable to Project No. 541-86-10.1, Corpus Christi International Airport Landscaping.
