AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE
CONTRACTS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH OLGETREE
ENGINEERING, INC. AND GOLDSTON ENGINEERING, INC. PROVIDING
FOR THE DESIGN OF IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SEAWALL AND T -HEADS,
RESPECTIVELY; AND APPROPRIATING $142,600.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
Amendment No. 1 to the contracts for engineering services with Ogletree
Engineering, Inc. and Goldston Engineering, Inc. providing for the design of
improvements to the Seawall and T -Heads, respectively, all as more fully set
forth in the amendment, substantial copies of which are attached hereto and made
a part hereof, marked Exhibits A and B.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $142,600 from the
No. 552 Park Bond Fund of which $57,600 is for the Ogletree contract and $85,000
is for the Goldston contract applicable to Project No. 552-87-1.1, Seawall and
T -Head Improvements.

The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, hereinafter called "City" and Ogletree
Engineering, Inc., hereinafter called "Engineer", hereby agree to the
following amendment to the contract for Engineering Services for Seawall and
Barge Dock Repairs and Improvements as authorized by Ordinance No. 19648,
passed March 5, 1987.
The Engineer is hereby authorized to proceed with the Design Phase work
as described in Section II, B, of the contract to implement the
recommendations resulting from the Preliminary Phase (Section II, A) of the
contract.
The following paragraph shall be added to Section III, Fees.
The City will pay the Engineer a fixed fee of Fifty Seven Thousand Six
Hundred and no/100 Dollars ($57,600.00) for basic engineering services for the
Design Phase of this contract. This fee will be full and total compensation
for all services outlined. This fee is based on 45% of thetotal estimated
fee for all engineering services associated with this project.
All other terms and conditions to the contract approved on March 5, 1987,
between the City and Engineer not specifically addressed herein, shall remain
in full force and effect.

The City of Corpus Christi, Texas, hereinafter called "City" and Goldston
Engineering, Inc., hereinafter called "Engineer", hereby agree to the
following amendment to the contract for Engineering Services for L -Head and
T -Heads - Bulkhead Repairs and Improvements as authorized by Ordinance No.
19648, passed March 5, 1987.
The Engineer is hereby authorized to proceed with the Design Phase work
as described in Section II, B, of the contract to implement the
recommendations resulting from the Preliminary Phase (Section II, A) of the
contract.
The following paragraph shall be added to Section III, Fees.
The City will pay the Engineer a fixed fee of Eighty Five Thousand and
no/100 Dollars ($85,000.00) for basic engineering services for the Design
Phase of this contract. This fee will be full and total compensation for all
services outlined. This fee is based on 50% of the total estimated fee for
all engineering services associated with this project.
All other terms and conditions to the contract approved on March 5, 1987,
between the City and Engineer not specifically addressed herein, shall remain
in full force and effect.
