HomeMy WebLinkAbout020221 RES - 03/01/1988A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH PROGRESSIVE STRUCTURES, INC. FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A NEIGHBORHOOD PARK TO SERVE THE AUSTIN AND SANTA ELENA SUBDIVISION AREAS; AND APPROPRIATING $97,449.51. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Progressive Structures, Inc. for the development of a neighborhood park to serve the Austin and Santa Elena Subdivision areas, all as more fully set forth in plans and specifications and contract documents on file in the office of the City Secretary, all of which are made a part hereof by reference and according to the bid of Progressive Structures, Inc. said bid being the lowest and most advantageous to the City of Corpus Christi. SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $97,449.51 from the No. 551 Park Bond Fund of which $73,663.50 is for the contract award and $23,786.01 is for contingencies, additional engineering, testing, printing and legal advertising applicable to Project No. 551-86-17.1, Austin Neighborhood Park.
