Tahiti and Samoa Drives, from Mediterranean Drive to Cul -de -Sacs, 2. Bimini Drive, from Caribbean Drive to Cul -de -Sac. AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 19808, passed and approved June 23, 1987, be amended by amending Section 3 so as to adopt the final assessment roll and assessments levied against owners of abutting property on the following street: Flour Bluff Area 1. Tahiti and Samoa Drives, from Mediterranean Drive to Cul -de -Sacs, 2. Bimini Drive, from Caribbean Drive to Cul -de -Sac. a substantial copy of which assessment role is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit A. SECTION 2. Tahiti and Samoa Drives, from Mediterranean Drive to Cul -de -Sacs, 2. Bimini Drive, from Caribbean Drive to Cul -de -Sac. These streets shall be constructed by excavation to a width and depth to permit the laying of a 6" standard curb and gutter section, 6" compacted subgrade, 8" compacted caliche base and 111" Type "D" Hot Mix asphaltic pavement. The street will be 28 feet in width measured from back of curb and constructed within the existing right-of-way. There will be 4' wide reinforced concrete sidewalks, 4" thick and 6" thick reinforced concrete driveways constructed as shown on the plans. The proposed construction plans for Bel Air Drive, from Waldron Road westward for 885 linear feet, have been deleted from this project and the assessments can- celled. The assessment rates have been calculated in accordance with City's latest paving policy. Based on this policy and the low bid prices submitted by Haas Paving Company, Inc., the assessment rates are as follows: Bid Price Plus Assessment Item Engineering Cost Rates 28' Wide Street, BOC 6" Curb, Gutter & Pavement $13.39 L.F. $13.39 L.F.
