AMENDING THE MASTER SANITARY SEWER PLAN, SHEETS 32 AND 36,
BY TRANSFERRING AN APPROXIMATE 310 ACRE AREA ALONG OLD
BROWNSVILLE ROAD SOUTH OF PADRE ISLAND DRIVE FROM SERVICE
AREA 18 TO SERVICE AREA 19; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Master Sanitary Sewer Plan, Sheets 32 and 36, as
prepared by Reagan and McCaughan and adopted by Ordinance No. 7441 on
December 13, 1964, is hereby amended by transferring an approximate 310 acre
area along Old Brownsville Road south of Padre Island Drive from Service Area 18
to Service Area 19 as shown on the attached Exhibit A.
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for the
effective and efficient administration of City affairs, such finding of an
emergency is made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to
consideration and voting upon ordinances at three regular meetings so that this
ordinance is pass d apd shall to ffect upon first read' as an emergency

and pass this ordinance or resolution finally on the date it is introduced,
or at the present meeting of the City Council.
