AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF THE DOCUMENTS
NECESSARY FOR THE ACQUISITION OF PARCEL 5 IN
CONNECTION WITH THE I.H. 37/U.S. 77
INTERCHANGE UTILITY ADJUSTMENTS; AND
APPROPRIATING $12,100.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager be authorized to
execute the documents necessary for the acquisition of Parcel 5
in connection with the I.H. 37/U.S. 77 Interchange Utility
Adjustments, a substantial copy of which is attached hereto and
made a part hereof, marked Exhibit "A."
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated
$12,100 out of the No. 250 Sanitary Sewer Bond Fund for said
acquisition and related ownership report applicable to Project
No. 250-87-44-3.1, I.H. 37/U.S. 77 Utility Easements.

REPRESENTED BY H.W. REAGAN ACTING AS TEMPORARY ADMINISTRATOR
UNDER THE CONDOMINIUM DECLARATION FILED IN VOLUME 26, PAGE
427 OF THE CONDOMINIUM RECORDS OF NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS AND
ACTING AS THE COUNCIL OF CO-OWNERS FILED IN VOLUME 26, PAGE
450 OF THE CONDOMINIUM RECORDS OF NUECES COUNTY, TEXAS, all
being of the County of NUECES State of TEXAS, for and in
consideration of the sum of Twelve thousand Fifty Dollars
and no cents [$12,050.00] to us in hand paid by the City of
Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas, the receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged, have granted and conveyed, and by
these presents do grant and convey unto the City of Corpus
Christi, Texas, a municipal corporation duly incorporated
under and by virtue of the laws of the State of Texas, its
successors and legal representatives the free and
uninterrupted use, liberty, privilege, and easement of going
in, on, over, under and along a certain tract of land
situated in Nueces County, Texas and being described as
follows:

Beginning at the southeasterly corner of said Lot 11
THENCE South 70 deg. 44' west along the southerly line of
said Lot 1 a distance of 15.54 feet;
THENCE North 4 deg. 06' west • distance of 168.12 fest,
THENCE North 17 deg. 07' west a distance fo 121.46 feet to
the boundary of an existing 15' utility easement;
THENCE North 2 deg. 55' 50" East a distance of 43.76 feet to
an easterly interior corner of said Lot Is
THENCE South 17 deg. 07' Bast along the easterly line of said
Lot a distance of 164.28 fest,
THENCE South 4 deg. 06' East along the easterly line of said

In addition to the above described per•ansnt easement, a
strip of land 5 feet in width abutting and adjoining the west
line of this tract is granted as a temporary easement for the
construction of utility lines, said tract of land more
particularly described by the following metes and bounds,
Beginning at a point on the southerly line of said Lot 1
South 70 deg. 44' west a distance of 15.54 feet from the
southeast corner thereof;
THENCE South 70 deg. 44' West along the southerly line of
said Lot 1 a distance of 5.18 feet;
THENCE North 4 deg. 06' wast a distance of 168.12 feet,
THENCE North 17 deg. 07' Nest a distance of 58.56 fest to the
boundary of Building Bits P,
THENCE North 26 deg. 47'20" East along the boundary of
Building Site P a distance of 5.77 feats
THENCE North 63 deg. 12' 40" west along the boundary of
Building Site P a distance of 5.55 feet;
THENCE North 17 deg. 07' west a distance of 40.62 feet to the
boundary of an existing 15' utility easements
THENCE North 2 deg. 55' 50' East a distance of 14.59 foot,

A map showing the utility easement is attached hereto
and made a part hereof for all purposes as "Exhibit A".
Together with the free ingress, egress, and regress to
and for the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, for the purpose
of constructing, laying, and keeping public utility lines,
and for the purposes of maintaining, servicing, repairing,
and inspecting said lines under, on, and along said tract.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, ALL AND SINGULAR, the rights and
privileges aforesaid to the City of Corpus Christi, Texas
its successors and legal representatives, for the proper
use as a UTILITY EASEMENT
and utility right-of-way for so long as used for such
purpose, and if the use for said easement and way of said
uses be ever abandoned, then in that event, the aforesaid
rights and privileges shall cease.
