AUTHORIZATION FOR CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AGREEMENT WITH
CORPUS CHRISTI NUECES COUNTY SERVICE DELIVERY AREA PRIVATE
INDUSTRY COUNCIL FOR TRANSITION OF ADMINISTRATION OF JTPA
PROGRAMS AND FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City of Corpus Christi has previously entered into a
partnership agreement for joint administration of various jobs training
programs and funds; and
WHEREAS, a nonprofit corporation, Corpus Christi Nueces County
Service Delivery Area Private Industry Council is assuming responsibility for
all jobs training programs and funds.
BE IT RESOLVED that:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute an agreement
with the Corpus Christi Nueces County Service Delivery Area Private Industry
Council to transfer personnel and responsibility for administration of jobs
training programs and funds.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to execute any amendments
to said agreement or such documentation as may be required by the Texas
Department of Commerce to effectuate said agreement.
