AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 20196 BY AMENDING SECTION 3 IN ORDER
TO ADOPT THE FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS
ON THE FOLLOWING STREET:
Glenoak Drive
Glenoak Drive, from Waldron Road to Saint Peter Street.
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 20196, passed and approved February 9,
1988, be amended by amending Section 3 so as to adopt the final assessment roll
and assessments levied against owners of abutting property on the following
street:
Glenoak Drive
Glenoak Drive, from Waldron Road to Saint Peter Street.
a substantial copy of which assessment role is attached hereto and made a part
hereof, marked Exhibit "A."
SECTION 2. That upon written request of the Mayor or five Council
members, copy attached, to find and declare an emergency due to the need for
efficient and effective administration of City affairs by the adoption of the
final, corrected assessment roll as aforesaid, such finding of an emergency is
made and declared requiring suspension of the Charter rule as to consideration
and voting upon ordinances at three regular meetings so that this ordinance is
passed and sh
take effect upon firs reading as an emergency measure this the

Improvements
This project shall include the construction of sidewalk along the south
side of the following street:
Glenoak Drive
Glenoak Drive, From Waldron Road To Saint Peter Street.
This project shall consist of the construction of a 4 foot wide reinforced
concrete sidewalk, 4" thick along the south side of Glenoak Drive within
the described limits.
The assessment rates have been calculated in accordance with the City's
current paving policy. Based on this policy and the low bid prices sub-
mitted by A. Ortiz Construction and Paving Company, Inc. the assessment
rates are as follows:
