APPROVING CHANGE ORDERS #14 AND #17, FOR
$13,243 AND $13,032, RESPECTIVELY, TO THE
CONTRACT WITH MANHATTAN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
FOR THE NEW CITY HALL PROJECT; ACCEPTING THE
NEW CITY HALL PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING FINAL
PAYMENT OF $615,064.65 TO MANHATTAN
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY; AUTHORIZING THE
TRANSFER OF $210,000 FROM THE CITY HALL TRUST
FUND AND $50,424 FROM THE CITY MANAGER
PRODUCTIVITY TRUST FUND TO THE CITY HALL BOND
FUND; AND APPROPRIATING $382,322.58 FROM THE
CITY HALL BOND FUND TO COVER FINAL PROJECT
COSTS APPLICABLE TO CITY HALL PROJECT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. Approving Change Orders #14 and #17, for
$13,243 and $13,032, respectively, to the contract with Manhattan
Construction Company for the New City Hall project; accepting the
New City Hall project and authorizing final payment of
$615,064.65, including retainage interest of $21,397.85, to
Manhattan Construction Company; authorizing the transfer of
$210,000 from the No. 111-243.84 City Hall Trust Fund and $50,424
from the No. 111-243.82 City Manager Productivity Trust Fund to
the No. 210 City Hall Bond Fund.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated $382,322.58
from the No. 210 City Hall Bond Fund to cover final project costs
applicable to Project No. 210-83-1.1, City Hall.
