AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE THREE -CUBIC
YARD, RUBBER -TIRED FRONT-END LOADER FROM
ANDERSON MACHINERY COMPANY FOR $72,999, BASED
ON LOW BID AND APPROPRIATING THE SAME AMOUNT
FROM THE VEHICLE REPLACEMENT TRUST FUND.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby
authorized to purchase one three -cubic yard, rubber -tired
front-end loader from Anderson Machinery Company for $72,999,
based on low bid and appropriating the same amount from the
Vehicle Replacement Trust Fund, all as more fully set forth in
plans and specifications for Bid Invitation No. BI -0229-88 on
file in the Department of Engineering Services, all of which are
made a part hereof by reference and according to the bid of
Anderson Machinery Company, said bid being the lowest and most
advantageous to the City of Corpus Christi.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated
$72,999 from the Vehicle Replacement Trust Fund.
