ACCEPTING THE 14TH YEAR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL
RELATED DOCUMENTS; AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR ELIGIBLE 14TH
YEAR PROJECTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Department of Housing and Urban Development's
14th Year Community Development Block Grant Program be accepted and that the
City Manager is hereby authorized to execute all related documents to implement
the program.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $4,190,000 in the 14th
Year Community Development Block Grant Funds as described in Exhibit A, attached
hereto and made a part hereof, of which $3,500,000 is the 14th year entitlement,
$250,000 from reprogramming into the 14th Year from previous years, and an
estimated $440,000 from program income from loan repayments.
