AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A CERTIFICATE OF
CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY TO MR. AND
MRS. JOHN SUTER, DBA ISLAND SHUTTLE CAB CO.,
FOR THE OPERATION OF A TAXICAB SERVICE WITHIN
THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI; AND PROVIDING FOR
PUBLICATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby
authorized to issue a Certificate of Convenience and Necessity to
Mr. and Mrs. John Suter, dba Island Shuttle Cab Co., for the
operation of a taxicab service within the City of Corpus Christi
for a five-year period effective August 22, 1988, through August
21, 1993; subject to the applicant's compliance with all terms
and conditions established in Chapter 57, Article II, Taxicabs,
of the Code of Ordinances.
SECTION 2. Publication shall be made in the
official publication of the City of Corpus Christi as required by
the City Charter of the City of Corpus Christi.
