AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH CONSTRUCTION
ASSISTANCE AND SERVICES, INC. FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE
HERITAGE PARK COURTYARD; APPROPRIATING $61,425.01.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with Construction Assistance and Services, Inc. for improvements to the
Heritage Park Courtyard, all as more fully set forth in plans and specifications
and contract documents on file in the office of the City Secretary, all of which
are made a part hereof by reference and according to the bid of Construction
Assistance and Services, Inc., said bid being the lowest and most advantageous
to the City of Corpus Christi.
SECTION 2. That there is hereby appropriated $50,595.81 from the
No. 265 Multicultural Center Bond Fund and $10,829.20 from the No. 111-243.93
Sesquicentennial Trust Fund for a total of $61,425.01, of which $51,241.75 is
for the contract award and $10,183.26 is for engineering, contingencies, park
force account work, printing, testing, legal advertising, and other incidental
and related expenses applicable to Project No. 265-601-606.60, Heritage Park
Courtyard Improvements.
