HomeMy WebLinkAbout020545 ORD - 01/03/1989AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 19966 BY AMENDING SECTION 3 IN ORDER TO ADOPT THE FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS ON THE FOLLOWING STREET: Gardendale Area, Phase I 1. Bonner Drive, from Everhart Road to South Staples Street, and 2. Betty Jean Drive, Nelson Lane and Burton Lane, from Holly Road to Williams Drive. AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 19966, passed and approved September 8, 1987, be amended by amending Section 3 so as to adopt the final assessment roll and assessments levied against owners of abutting property on the following street: Gardendale Area, Phase I 1. Bonner Drive, from Everhart Road to South Staples Street, and 2. Betty Jean Drive, Nelson Lane and Burton Lane, from Holly Road to Williams Drive. a substantial copy of which assessment roll is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit "A". SECTION 2. PHASE It 1011111111111 IMPROVEMENTS 1100TN •T•►L[• •T Final Assessment Roll Gardendale Area, Phase I Street Improvements The Gardendale Area, Phase I shall consist of improvements to the following streets: Gardendale Area, Phase I 1. Bonner Drive, from Everhart Road to South Staples Street, and 2. Betty Jean Drive, Nelson Lane and Burton Lane, from Holly Road to Williams Drive. These streets shall be constructed by excavation to a width and depth to permit the laving of a 6" standard curb and gutter section, 6" compacted lime stabilized subgrade, 8" or 10" compacted caliche base and 11/2" or 2" Type "D" Hot Mix asphal- tic pavement. The streets will be 28 feet in width measured back of the curb; however, Betty Jean Drive will be constructed 40 feet in width. There will be 4' or 5' wide reinforced concrete sidewalks, 4" thick and 6" thick reinforced con- crete driveways constructed as shown on the plans. The assessment rates have been calculated in accordance with the City's current paving policy.
