HomeMy WebLinkAbout020548 ORD - 01/03/1989AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 19845 BY AMENDING SECTION 3 IN ORDER TO ADOPT THE FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR CERTAIN STREET IMPROVEMENTS ON McARDLE ROAD IMPROVEMENTS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 19845, passed and approved July 15, 1987, be amended by amending Section 3 so as to adopt the final assessment roll and assessments levied against owners of abutting property on the following streets as more fully set forth in the final assessment roll, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A: McArdle Road 1. McArdle Road, from Ayers Street to Anthony Street, and 2. Kostoryz Road, from 448 Linear Feet South of McArdle Road to 510 Linear Feet North of McArdle Road. SECTION 2. McArdle Road, from Ayers Street to Anthony Street, and 2. Kostoryz Road, from 448 Linear Feet South of McArdle Road to 510 Linear Feet North of McArdle Road. These streets shall be constructed by excavation to a width and depth to permit the laying of a 6" standard curb and gutter section, 6" compacted subgrade, 8" compacted caliche base and 11" Type "D" Hot Mix asphaltic pavement over 3" Type "B" Hot Mix asphaltic concrete. The streets will be 36, 40 and 62 feet in width measured from the back of the curb and constructed within the existing right-of-ways. There will be 4' or 5' wide reinforced concrete sidewalks, 4" thick and 6" thick reinforced concrete driveways con- structed as shown on the plans. The assessment rates have been calculated in accordance with the City's latestavin policy.
