AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE NEW SEVEN
YEAR INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT CONTRACTS WITH THE INDUS --
TRIES WITH WHICH THE CITY CURRENTLY HAS CONTRACTS
WHEREAS, The City of Corpus Christi currently contracts
with approximately sixty individuals, companies, and
businesses located outside the city limits in accordance
with the terms of industrial district contracts duly
executed; and
WHEREAS, The City has determined that the continuation
of industrial districts for a period of seven (7) years
is in its best interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS;
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute new seven year industrial district contracts, under
substantially similar terms, with those industries and
entities with which the City currently has contracts, as
shown on the attached listing marked Exhibit A.
