AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 12, BOATS,
BAYS AND WATERWAYS, SECTION 12-61, RATES AND RENTAL
FEES FOR USE OF SLIPS AND DOCK SPACE --SCHEDULE AND
REGULATIONS, BY ADDING DRY HARD STAND BOAT STORAGE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the Code of Ordinances, Chapter 12, Boats, Bays
and Waterways, Section 12-61, Rates and rental fees for use of slips and dock
space --Schedule and regulations, is hereby amended by adding a definition in
Section (1) and amending the rates set out in Section (2)(c).
(1) Definitions:
Dry Hard Stand Boat Storage: A designated area on the hard stand used
for dry boat storage of trailered craft.
(2)(c) Berths in dry boat dock and spaces in Dry Hard Stand Storage.
The rate for berths in the dry stack boat dock shall be:
1. Thirteen dollars ($13.00) per month for each lower level berth.
2. Ten dollars ($10.00) per month for each second level berth.
3. Ten dollars ($10.00) per month for each third level berth.
The rates for spaces in Dry Hard Stand Storage shall be:
1. Contract lease -forty dollars ($40.00) per month.
2. Temporary Transient Rates -
Monthly Rate - Sixty dollars ($60.00) per month
Weekly Rate - Twenty dollars ($20.00) per week
Daily Rate - Five dollars ($5.00) per day
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflicts.
SECTION 3. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause, phrase, word or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or
shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word
or provision of this ordinance for it is the definite intent of this City
Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or
provision hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose.
SECTION 4. Section 1 shall become effective upon final passage of
this ordinance.

SECTION 5. Publication shall be made one time in the official
publication of the City of Corpus Christi by publishing the caption stating in
substance the purpose of the ordinance.
