SUPPORTING LEGISLATION PERTAINING TO RETENTION OF WATER RIGHTS
WHEREAS, the continued growth and prosperity of a city depends in large
part on the availability of water;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS
CHRISTI, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the City of Corpus Christi, Texas, endorses and supports
House Bill 213 relating to the exemption from cancellation of certain water rights
permits, certified filings and certificates of adjudication.
