AUTHORIZING AN APPLICATION AND ACCEPTANCE FOR GRANT
ASSISTANCE UNDER THE FEDERAL WATER POLLUTION CONTROL ACT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Corpus Christi deems it
necessary and proper to apply for Federal grant assistance under the Federal
Water Pollution Control Act and the rules and regulations pursuant thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Juan Garza, City Manager, as the Signatory Agent of
the City of Corpus Christi, Applicant, or the successor of said Agent, is hereby
authorized and directed to make application for grant assistance under the
Federal Water Pollution Control Act and the rules and regulations pursuant
thereto, specifically 40 CFR § 30.315-1 or § 30.303; and to sign the acceptance
of the grant assistance, when made, and any other documents required to complete
the project, on behalf of the above-named Applicant.
