HomeMy WebLinkAbout020636 ORD - 03/28/1989AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 23, HEALTH AND SANITATION, SECTION 23-57, SWIMMING POOL STANDARDS, TO SUBSTITUTE THE TERM "PROPERTY SWIMMING POOL" FOR THE TERM "PUBLIC SWIMMING POOL"; PROVIDING FOR SEVERANCE; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the Code of Ordinances, Chapter 23, Health and Sanitation, Section 23-57, Swimming Pool Standards, is hereby amended by deleting the term "public swimming pool" where appearing and substituting therefor the term "property swimming pool." SECTION 2. That said Section 23-57 is further amended by amending paragraph (3) thereof by deleting the term "public pools" and substituting the term "property swimming pools" therefor. SECTION 3. If for any reason any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or provision of this ordinance shall be held invalid or unconstitutional by final judgment of a court of competent jurisdiction, it shall not affect any other section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or provision of this ordinance for it is the definite intent of this City Council that every section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, word or provision hereof be given full force and effect for its purpose. SECTION 4.
