HomeMy WebLinkAbout020672 RES - 05/16/1989A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT TO THE HEADSTART AGREEMENT WITH NUECES COUNTY COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY WHICH PROVIDES FOR A FORTY-FIVE DAY EXTENSION AND AN ADDITIONAL $13,900 FOR THE MOLINA/LOS ENCINOS AND SPOHN HOSPITAL AREA HEADSTART PROJECT. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an amendment to the Headstart Agreement with Nueces County Community Action Agency which provides for a forty-five (45) day extension and an additional $13,900 for the Molina/Los Encinos and Spohn Hospital Area Headstart Project, all as more fully set forth in the amendment, a substantial copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit A. City ttorney 208AG095. res OR THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS 20672 MICROFILMED HEADSTART CENTER AGREEMENT AMENDMENT THE STATE OF TEXAS * KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: THE COUNTY OF NUECES This AGREEMENT 'AMENDMENT is entered into between the City of Corpus Christi, hereinafter called "City", and the Nueces County Community Action Agency, hereinafter called "NCCAA". 1 City Agrees: 1. To provide an additional thirteen thousand nine hundred ($13,900) dollars which increases the funds previously obligated to a total allocation of $173,900 for the Molina/Los Encinos and Spohn Hospital Area Headstart Project. 2. To provide an extension of an additional forty-five (45) days to begin construction of the Headstart facilities. II NCCAA AGREES: 1. -To begin construction by May31, 1989 andto complete construction within ninety.(90) days after commencing construction. 2. To comply with applicable terms and conditions as specified in the original agreement. EXECUTED in duplicate originals this day of 1989, equal force and effect.
