Hampshire Road, from Benys Road to North Padre Island Drive, 2. Yale Street, from Prescott Street to Vestal Street, 3. Vestal Street, from Yale Street to Sherman Street, and 4. Vitemb Street, from Sherman Street to Horne Road; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 20513, passed and approved November 8, 1988, be amended by amending Section 3 so as to adopt the final assessment roll and assessments levied against owners of abutting property on the following street: HAMPSHIRE ROAD & YALE STREET 1. Hampshire Road, from Benys Road to North Padre Island Drive, 2. Yale Street, from Prescott Street to Vestal Street, 3. Vestal Street, from Yale Street to Sherman Street, and 4. Vitemb Street, from Sherman Street to Horne Road; a substantial copy of which assessment role is attached hereto and made a part hereof, marked Exhibit "A". SECTION 2. Hampshire Road, from Benys Road To North Padre Island Drive, 2. Yale Street, From Prescott Street To Vestal Street, 3. Vestal Street, From Yale Street To Sherman Street and 4. Vitemb Street, From Sherman Street To Horne Road. These streets shall be constructed to a width and depth to permit the laying of a standard 6" curb and gutter section, a compacted subgrade, a 7.5" to 8.5" limed subbase, a 5" to 7" compacted caliche base and 1.5" to 2" Type "D" Hot Mix Asphaltic pavement. The residential streets will be 28' wide and Hampshire Road will transition to a 40' width at North Padre Island Drive. There will be 4' wide reinforced concrete sidewalks, 4" thick and 6" thick reinforced concrete driveway constructed as shown on the plans. The assessment rates have been calculated in accordance with the latest paving policy adopted by the City. Based on this policy and the low bid prices submitted by Haas Paving Company, Inc., the assessment rates are as follows: Hampshire Road 40' Wide Street, BOC 6" Curb, Gutter & Pavement 28' Wide Street, BOC 6" Curb, Gutter & Pavement Vestal, Vitemb & Yale Streets Bid Price $21.50 L.F. $11.85 L.F.
